We headed to Sioux Falls on June 19 for a visit with Grandpa Doug and Grandma Linda . It ended up being a busy day! We dropped off a car at Grandpa Mike and Grandma Pam's, parked the trailer across the street from their house and then went to GD/GL's for lunch. They showed us a copy of their new church directory and totally blessed my heart! The directory itself was pretty neat, but the photos of their family included a photo of Allen, David and me (last summer, before Kassy)! SWEET!!! David hung out with them for the afternoon while Allen, Kassy and I did some errands. David had a great time playing outside with GL and GD.
After we picked David up we went back to GM/GP to visit. GM spent a good part of his Saturday afternoon working on the car and got it running! GP, David, Kassy, and I took a walk and visited. As we were getting ready to leave, GP told us that their neighbor across the street had asked who the trailer belonged to. GP said it belonged to her son-in-law (Allen). Pretty cool to have both sides of David's birthfamily "adopting" us too! We feel pretty special!
