Naughty Big Girl

This evening Allen's folks went with us to my home church for supper and lenton service. We were leaving the church shortly after 8 p.m. to head for home. David asked if he could watch a movie, so Allen started the DVD player. At 8:30 we turned Word World off so the kids could settle down for sleep. David got mad when I closed the screen and yelled that he wasn't done watching yet (I don't think he'll ever be "done" watching). I told him he'd watched enough TV for today and it was time to look out the window or go to sleep. He yelled, "You're a naughty big girl!" Allen burst out laughing (I think Pappy was laughing too) and even I couldn't help smiling....just a little bit. Guess he gave me a dose of my own medicine!
