The kids spent a good part of this week with my folks because of various activities and meetings that I had going on this week. My mom and David had a good time teasing each other:
David: Hi Grandma Pickard!
Grandma: Hi David Pribyl!
David: I'm not David Pribyl! I'm David Pickard!
Grandma: I'm not Grandma Pickard! I'm Grandma Pribyl!
and so on.....Mom loved the teasing twinkle in David's eyes!
One night, as she was putting David to bed, he snuggled up to her, put his hand on her cheek and said, "I love you Grandma Pribyl." and Grandma said, "I love you too, Davey Pickard." She said that they repeated this conversation until he feel asleep. How sweet! I've witnessed his teasing, and that twinkle in his eye is incredibly fun and sweet!!!!
